The Wildacre Cabin

Just a few steps from the porch, a clear mountain stream curves in front of the cabin. The cabin is nestled into a little valley surrounded by mountains, at the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest.  It's the only cabin, situated on 40 acres. Only 3/4 mile from a paved road, Wildacre is private, but not isolated. All you can see from the cabin porch are the creek, trees & mountains (& wildlife if you're fortunate)! One of our frequent visitors said she'd rather be lying in the hammock by the creek at Wildacre than to be with her friends in Bora Bora! The driveway was once part of the Old Federal Road, used by wagons crossing the mountain from Chatsworth to Ellijay. Less than a half mile away on Dennis Mill Road is the trailhead parking lot for the Pinhoti Trail, which connects with the Appalachian Trail at Benton McKaye.

The cabin sleeps up to 6 people. One bedroom has a king bed with a triple-window view of the creek, and the other bedroom has a queen bed and two twin beds. Each bedroom has an adjoining bath.
